Quick Overview

In our opinion this is one of the best wines to come out of the Languedoc region. From a blend of approx 50% Syrah, 30% Grenache and 20% Mourvèdre this wine is absolutely delicious with good fruit and weight with silky tannins, elegance and complexity. A combination of strength, delicacy, charm and balance.

Domaine Description

After studying law and spending twenty years in the corporate world, Pascal Fulla finally realised a longstanding dream when he became a vigneron. Pascal produces red wines from the classic regional varieties: Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Carignan. His attention to detail is incredible: each parcelle is separately vinified and aged, each receiving the individual attention which it needs. For example, Grenache might be in French oak, Cinsault in Russian and Carignan in French, depending on the characteristics and the vintage. All the work in the vineyard is done by hand. The wines ally finesse with strength, freshness and balance and have been well loved by some of the best and most renowned wine critics.

To reflect Pascal’s ambition to create something as beautiful as fine words, he christened his estate “le Mas de l'Écriture” (The Writing Lodge), and draws daily inspiration from the poetry which adorns his cellar walls.
