Domaine Description
Pascale Marcillaud and her husband founded Château Jasse Castel in 1998 in Montpeyroux. With 20 years of experience in the world of wine, initially as a journalist, then training others in the commercial side of viniculture, and latterly as an apprentice at another well known Languedoc vineyard, Pascale’s passion for wine is unrivalled. Very much at one with nature, Pascale is no stranger to very physical work in the vineyard. Harvest is by hand and the vines are treated with utmost care. Their outstanding wines are a direct result of this attention to detail. The wines feature on the wine lists of the top restaurants in the Languedoc and throughout France. Indeed we discovered her superb wines at the delightful Chez Philippe restaurant in Marseillan. Pascale and her husband were given an antique wine press as a wedding present which now adorns and is put to good use in the chai.
