Prieuré de Saint-Jean-de-Bébian - La Chapelle de Bébian Rouge / 2007 / Red
£ 15.95
Made from a traditional blend of Languedoc red grapes this cuvee is aged in barriques which were used the previous year for the Prieuré (the first wine). “ A wine that combines young fruitfulness and rich constitution” this wine is drinking superbly now and will continue to do so for years to come. With red and black ripe fruits and hints of spice and garrigue herbs this sumptuous wine shows finesse and complexity and is the perfect balance of fruit and structure. Learn More

Prieuré de Saint-Jean-de-Bébian - La Chapelle de Bébian Blanc / 2009 / White
£ 15.95
La Chapelle is the second wine from this famous estate but is no means second in quality. Made from a divers blend of Mediterranean white grape varieties this wine is full, rich, fruity and honeyed with good balancing acidity and hints of spice, mint and aniseed. It goes superbly well with many dishes including a simple plate of prawns with lemon, rich seafood dishes or even oriental flavours. Learn More

Mas Jullien - Etats D'Ame / 2002 / Red

This is the second red wine of Mas Jullien and a more convivial wine with less ageing in wood. Made from 40% Grenache, 30% Syrah and the balance Cinsault and Carignan, this wine is very approachable with juicy red fruit and a hint of pepper. Learn More

Domaine Bertrand Bergé - Cuvée Les Mégalithes / 2008 / Red

Jérôme intends to age this in barrels in the future. Aroma of incense and concentrated smooth damsons on the palate lead to an intense and lingering finish. Learn More

Domaine de Clovallon - Les Aires / 2009 / White
£ 16.50
Similar in style to wines from Condrieu and in our opinion better than most, this wine is by far the best Viognier we have tasted from the Languedoc. The north facing slopes at high altitudes in the Haut Languedoc along with Catherine's hard work in the vineyard and minimum intervention make this fine and delicate wine it is. Peach, pear and citrus notes on the nose give way to a creamy, delicate yet complex palate with a clean and long finish. A truly excellent wine. Learn More

Mas de Daumas Gassac - Rosé Frizant / 2008 / Rosé
£ 16.95
This is the perfect summer drink for a touch of decadence, as an aperitif, at a picnic, with strawberries or just for general drinking! A wonderful alternative to rosé Champagne for special occasions (it went down very well at our wedding!). Fresh and vivacious raspberry and strawberry fruit with lovely balance and finesse.
