Domaine de Clovallon - Les Aurièges / 2009 / White
£ 17.50
A blend of all the white grapes, this wine combines fruit and rich complexity with the acidic bite that many white Languedoc wines fail to achieve. It holds its own with substantial dishes including foie gras and seafood with sauces. Learn More
Domaine de Clovallon - Les Grains de Folie / 2001 / White / 50 cl
£ 17.50
This naturally sweet wine made from very ripe Muscat and Clairette grapes is lightly honeyed, complex, beautifully balanced and is a delight to drink. Learn More
Domaine de Clovallon - Les Aires / 2009 / White
£ 16.50
Similar in style to wines from Condrieu and in our opinion better than most, this wine is by far the best Viognier we have tasted from the Languedoc. The north facing slopes at high altitudes in the Haut Languedoc along with Catherine's hard work in the vineyard and minimum intervention make this fine and delicate wine it is. Peach, pear and citrus notes on the nose give way to a creamy, delicate yet complex palate with a clean and long finish. A truly excellent wine. Learn More
Prieuré de Saint-Jean-de-Bébian - La Chapelle de Bébian Blanc / 2009 / White
£ 15.95
La Chapelle is the second wine from this famous estate but is no means second in quality. Made from a divers blend of Mediterranean white grape varieties this wine is full, rich, fruity and honeyed with good balancing acidity and hints of spice, mint and aniseed. It goes superbly well with many dishes including a simple plate of prawns with lemon, rich seafood dishes or even oriental flavours. Learn More
Mas Cal Demoura - L'Etincelle / 2004 / White
£ 14.95
This fresh, aromatic and complex white wine is made from a combination of traditional southern French grape varieties: Grenache blanc, Roussanne, Muscat along with the famous Rhône variety Viognier and 35% Chenin blanc. With lovely fresh fruit on the palate this elegant white wine goes perfectly with fillet of rouget or any other fresh fish. Learn More
Mas Gabriel - Clos des Papillons / 2010 / White
£ 14.95
Pale golden in colour with aromas of dried flowers, ripe citrus fruits and quince this wine has firm nutty aromas, an opulent honeyed texture in the mouth balanced with superb vivacity and freshness and a lightly spicy finish. Learn More
Domaine de la Madura - La Madura Grand Vin / 2001 / White
£ 12.95
With grapes from the same vineyard as the Classic, this wine is aged in barriques for ten months, adding a certain complexity. The nose is intense and suggests white flowers and peaches, along with vanilla. And if you’re lucky enough to get the chance, it’s perfect with Nadine’s Blanquette de Veau.

Domaine de Clovallon - Joli Cantel / 2008 / White
£ 11.95
Made from a certain grape which is not to our knowledge grown anywhere else in the South of France (and not officially permitted), this wine is rich and full of texture with crisp acidity and lovely fresh apple fruit. Learn More
Domaine de Fourn - Cuvée Robert Brut Crémant de Limoux / 2004 / White
£ 11.95
This is a particularly luscious wine with a dosage that imparts a fat, even rich, style with honeyed peach and apple. Its fine mousse gives a certain elegance making it a splendid aperitif with canapés or with added crème de cassis for a decadent Kir Royal. Learn More
Clos Bagatelle - Muscat de Saint Jean de Minervois / 2006 / White
£ 11.95
A classic example of a very well-made sweet Muscat de Saint Jean de Minervois, nectar on the palate. Traditionally drunk by the French as an apéritif, this style is now often served with foie gras, blue cheeses and desserts. Learn More
