Jérôme intends to age this in barrels in the future. Aroma of incense and concentrated smooth damsons on the palate lead to an intense and lingering finish.

A blend of all the white grapes, this wine combines fruit and rich complexity with the acidic bite that many white Languedoc wines fail to achieve. It holds its own with substantial dishes including foie gras and seafood with sauces.

This is the perfect summer drink for a touch of decadence, as an aperitif, at a picnic, with strawberries or just for general drinking! A wonderful alternative to rosé Champagne for special occasions (it went down very well at our wedding!). Fresh and vivacious raspberry and strawberry fruit with lovely balance and finesse.

La Chapelle is the second wine from this famous estate but is no means second in quality. Made from a divers blend of Mediterranean white grape varieties this wine is full, rich, fruity and honeyed with good balancing acidity and hints of spice, mint and aniseed. It goes superbly well with many dishes including a simple plate of prawns with lemon, rich seafood dishes or even oriental flavours.

This very complex wine will keep and develop for many years. Made from classic Bordeaux varieties, it undergoes Médoc style vinification with a long fermentation and 12-16 months in old oak barrels. The result is a fantastic bouquet of crushed blackberries and mulberries with smoke and leather culminating in a long, silky finish. Perfect with venison or wild boar and game.

This wine has a wonderful nose of fruit, cocoa and spices with overtones of aromatic herbs and leather. The palate is rounded and fruit driven. Maturation and bottling is done only in tanks and not in barrels for this cuvée in order to retain the primary fruit flavours. Bottling takes soon after, again to ensure that the fruit is “imprisoned in the bottle” (as the Marquis D’Angerville once said of his Meursaults).

Similar in style to wines from Condrieu and in our opinion better than most, this wine is by far the best Viognier we have tasted from the Languedoc. The north facing slopes at high altitudes in the Haut Languedoc along with Catherine's hard work in the vineyard and minimum intervention make this fine and delicate wine it is. Peach, pear and citrus notes on the nose give way to a creamy, delicate yet complex palate with a clean and long finish. A truly excellent wine.

Made almost entirely from Marsanne this wine is rich and complex with white peach on the nose. A creamy, fleshy palate with crisp acidity, citrus notes, spice and texture. This wine is drinking superbly now and will age well due to maturation on its lees.
