Aged in cuve and oak, this wine gives very ripe black fruits on the nose with garrigue aromas and black pepper. An elegant and concentrated palate with supple tannins. Marc’s personal serving suggestions include rabbit, tarragon terrine with sun-dried tomatoes or tuna steak with anchovies.

Mostly aged in oak, this wine is complex on the nose with ripe fruit, liquorice, acacia flowers and spices. Concentrated and full-bodied on the palate with well-balanced tannins. Marc suggests drinking it with roasted woodpigeon or wild goose with caramelised figs. But any red meat will do! Marc and Sophie have awarded the 1999 vintage of this cuvée their very own ‘Coup de Coeur’!

This wine is aged in French oak barriques and displays delicious spicy dark fruit and smooth tannins. Like all the wines of Domaine Soulanes the wine has not been filtered or fined and can develop a deposit so decanting is recommended. Being a dense and very concentrated wine it would be the perfect match to meat dishes such as boeuf en daube or boeuf bourgignon.

As with all of their other wines no chemical herbicides or pesticides have been used on the land and the wines have not been filtered nor fined. This wine should be drunk at temperature of 12 degrees and shows wonderful flavours of tropical fruit, especially star fruit, and some pear. It can be drunk as an aperitif and is also the perfect match to citrus and tropical fruit desserts.
